Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive form of energy healing that originated in Japan. The word Reiki can be translated as “universal life energy.” During a Reiki session, the practitioner uses light touch or holds their hands just above the body with the intention of encouraging relaxation, balance, and a sense of calm. Many people find Reiki to be a peaceful and comforting experience, particularly during times of stress, grief, or emotional overwhelm. Reiki is complementary to—not a replacement for—medical or mental-health care.

Our Pet Reiki sessions bring gentle, calming energy support right into the comfort of your pet’s own home. This peaceful, non-invasive session is designed to create a relaxing environment where your pet can feel safe and comfortable in familiar surroundings.
Reiki may be especially comforting for pets experiencing stress, anxiety, aging, or changes in their well-being.
Sessions are available in the client’s home, allowing your pet to receive support without the added stress of travel or an unfamiliar setting.
Travel fees apply for locations outside the GTA.

Therapeutic painting offers a gentle way to express emotions that can sometimes be difficult to put into words. Through colour, shapes, textures, and creativity, you can explore feelings, release tension, and create a sense of calm while moving through grief or emotional stress.
There is no need to be an artist, this is about the experience, not the finished painting. Whether you are working through loss, anxiety, or simply looking for a peaceful way to reconnect with yourself, therapeutic painting provides a safe and supportive space to create, reflect, and heal at your own pace.
No artistic experience is required. This is a wellness activity and is not a replacement for professional mental-health care.

Nature journaling offers a peaceful opportunity to slow down, reconnect with the world around you, and express what is happening within. Using prompts and reflections from Healing Through Words, you’ll be guided to notice the small details in nature: sounds, colours, textures, seasons and use them as inspiration for your own thoughts and feelings.
Whether you are navigating grief, feeling overwhelmed, or simply looking for a meaningful way to reconnect with yourself, nature journaling can provide a gentle space for reflection, creativity, and self-discovery.
No writing experience is needed. Just bring yourself, an open mind, and a willingness to explore your thoughts through words and nature.

Poetry can be a gentle and meaningful way to navigate the grief process. When grief feels difficult to explain, putting emotions into words can help give shape to feelings that may otherwise remain bottled up. Through simple prompts, memories, imagery, and reflection, poetry allows you to honour your loss, express what is in your heart, and explore the many emotions that can come with grief.
Writing can also create a safe space to remember the relationship, celebrate meaningful moments, and acknowledge the changes that loss has brought into your life. There is no right or wrong way to write a poem and you do not need to consider yourself a writer.
This workshop is about expression, remembrance, and finding meaning through your own words. Your poem doesn't have to be perfect; it simply needs to be yours.
